  • Not sure why its called hong kong but their jajangmyeon is really good. We also ordered a small sweet and sour pork and some Dumplings for 2 pax. Left very satisfied, staff was also friendly. Although its upstairs so if you had a stroller like us, be prepared. 3 stars for atmosphere as it felt more of a food court

  • Jjajangmyeon is actually a very popular Korean Chinese dish. Its noodles in black bean sauce. I already tried it before in a small mom-and-pop restaurant nearby. Its a simple dish but very tasty and comforting. I was curious to try this store by Baek Jong-won, a renowned Korean chef. Its located along the busy Myeongdong strip. Its a very busy and noisy store with lots of customers coming in but a Korean friend was with us so ordering thankfully was easy. You can get a seat and browse the menu but its a counter order and payment system at the entrance before the meal is served. Food presentation is good. Every dish looks tasty and delicious. Generous portioning you can share with your friends. The regular black bean noodle is good but I like a little heat in this kind of weather so the spicy version with the chili is way better. Sweet and sour pork dish has a pale color sauce unlike the traditional Szechuan thick orange reddish sauce. There is option to change the sauce to this with additional cost of course. It is still a delicious dish to pair with the noodles. Spicy fried shrimp is ok but honestly you can skip this one unless you really want a seafood dish with your meal. Some diners can get a bit noisy when they have their alcohol drinks. Overall its probably a good place to start if you want to try Jjajangmyeon black bean noodle. The dish actually originated from a Chinese dish called Zhajiangmian and was modified by Chinese migrant workers in South Korea to better suit local tastes. Surprisingly some locals are actually not familiar this dish so if you have the chance to try this dish, visit this store and go for a bowl of hot noodles.

  • Two days ago I had an orribile experience in another location in fact my review was negative. So I wanted to try another location and this one was perfect Service is fast and efficient, with food typically arriving quickly after placing an order, which makes it a convenient stop for both individuals and families. In this location The staff was very professional yet maintains clean and comfortable dining environments. Ps Only one thing I ordered Jjamppong and there was no seafood in it that’s why four star on food

  • Super huge bowl of Jajangmyeon at only 9000 won ! Came to this place as we don’t know what to have for dinner but heard positive reviews of this place. The Jajangmyeon is filled will lots of ingredients and sliced pork. The portion is so huge I couldn’t finish it. Order a plate of sweet & sour pork but didn’t really like it as the pork are not crispy fried and there’s more sourness than sweetness. Preferred the Cantonese version than this.

  • The fried chicken is underrated. It’s juicy, crunchy and simply delicious!!! The jjajangmyeon… is indeed better than most! Service wise could be better. Overall would recommend though! Especially if you wanna try authentic jjangjangmyeon noodles
